Reginald V. Cunningham Sr., EdD

Reginald v. cunningham, sr.Dr. Cunningham stands at the forefront of the counseling arena. He
has spent the past 18 years dedicated to changing the lives of adolescent young men and adults suffering from an array of mental and emotional health and life challenges. He has become a sought-after therapist in the area of Couples and Marriage counseling. Most importantly, he is currently making his mark with bringing attention to the importance of mental health in the Black community through advocacy on local and national stages, helping to reduce the stigma that has kept us void of seeking proper help, particularly among African American men.

Dr. Cunningham is a graduate of Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, received his Masters from Coppin State University, and Doctorate of Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Counselor Education and Supervision from Argosy University.  He is a member the American Counselor Association, Black Therapists Rock, and sits on the Prince George’s County Mental Health Advisory Committee, where decisions of mental health matters are decided in the southern Maryland area. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
